I was thinking Danny playing Richie, only because he has that NY/NJ accent!

Well fortunately for you, Richie is in Thailand right now, and I don't think we can expect to hear from him for nearly a month. What a life he has.

Unfortunately never. You can go back a few pages and see John's more detailed explanation. Basically DP was just a lark when they had too much time on their hands, now they are too busy...

I kind of think Costner could portray John...Looks aside...
But I do feel Kevin would be a good actor to consider...

I have heard some people say Cruise...Not good. John and Richie have brains...Cruise...Well...That's a no-brainer...

Richie is a tough one...Maybe Russell Crowe...again...looks aside...then again...Crowe ain't that great looking either...Perfect....

Honestly, I probably did read that somewhere and it stuck into the memory banks....I was in a used video store about a week ago and saw Arnie and Danny on a cover so that probably meshed with this thread somehow and viola'!

(wow...now don't any of you freelance psychologists go reading anything into my thought process....that's some scary stuff!)

Gary's book specifically mentions the outstanding food at Scotties. And how the wreck is really off the coast of Gibraltar. Turns out that you guys were actually diving an old garbage barge from the 70s. Gary planted the spares box so that he could find it later and get the credit. Apparently you beat him to it and is still mad. Hence the book.
