Tonka, you totally blew it. Here you have the man himself, who you have "challenged" numerous times and you failed to "take the opportunity to challenge the veracity of 5 key scenarios portrayed in Shadow Divers." What happened? Here John offers to take you up on your challenge but you bailed??

I have to wonder if perhaps Tonka took my adviced and printed the thread out for someone to read and then have them give him some feed back on the tone of the posts. I know for a fact since I have clicked on his profile a few times to see when he was online lastthat he has been online a few times since JC joined.

I am kind of in favor of having the thread intact. I think it provides context as it was a conversation about SD,
then a pleasant conversation about John
then Tonka making charges against John
then people calling Tonka out on his behavior
more defensive posts by Tonka and more charges that John is liar
more people saying get a grip buddy--what is going on with you?????
John shows up and says here I am to answer the charges
In the mean time back at the ranch members begin to greet John and ask questions
John reads the posts and answers various members
Tonka still a no show with serious concrete questions
John says well if he doesn't show I am happy to answer questions as I have time from other folks

John, I didn't see that you addressed my first question:

"How would you respond to the assertion that you and Richie took credit and fame for the essential work, discovery, and achievements of several unnamed researchers and divers?"

Question 2 will relate to the climax scene in both Shadow Divers and "Hitler's Lost Sub".

Why not just lay out all 5 questions at once? I'm sure you understand that John is fairly busy and might not have time to keep coming back and answering questions one at a time...

I think that's an unreasonable endless political question. You obviously have something specific in mind ready to fire back so how about just stating what you think they took credit for from someone else?

yeah, that is just a ridiculous question Tonka and there is no factual answer that can be provided for such a question.

Ask a pointed question where facts can be used for a direct answer. otherwise, mere conjecture is simply a waste of time for everyone.

All of my posts demolishing shadow divers were removed. Reference page numbers, direct quotes, direct contradictions, yet Ho Chi Minh's (history note: Ho was the murderer of American GIs) post denigrating Gentile remains.

Now I see banner ad for Chatterton and Kohler.

Anyway Tonka you have complained over and over again about having your posts deleted and that you WANT ANSWERS. Well Chatterton has stepped up to the plate and said ok give me some specific questions. And I think Petie the Gorilla will give you a little room here as long as you are polite about it.

The reason I quoted a few of your posts above is to make the point that over and over you bring up accusations about SD and some of those posts have been quite long, but when JC shows up and says ok I will chat with you in public about it you suddenly don't have much to say.

I think we might come up with a couple of new terms out of this thread.


I might need some help from ffestpirate or Wardric to come up with proper dictionary def. Some how I think those guys could help me out and do a better job than I could. Here is how I think those terms might be used in a few sentences:

Well we were all there and then all of the sudden she/he started to tonka. Then did you see the way so and so chattertoned right back? That stopped the tonking right away. You know we were all kind of shocked because he/she has tonked so loudly about this matter for a long time. We just expected it to keep on going and going.

Or hey don't you start tonking with me!!!

Or it is a violation of the TOS to tonka on this board! No tonking will be tolerated!
