Boy that is my luck. I give up when the 5 PM's that I sent didn't go through and then it gets extended. Oh well. I didn't need the spare amsk anyway.

ya know, I PM'd an offer for a bag. maybe I am too late, past the right next tuesday, but I have yet to get a reply and to be frank, it puts me off. I was already very skeptical of buying from you because your approach seemed so flaky but now without a prompt reply, there is a zero chance of you getting my business.
I would rather do business with Scuab Toys where I know they stand behind their products and offer the best prices and services that they can.
I agree with Matt, post your best price and we will come calling if it is an attractive offer.
 
In Mark's defense, his PM box could have been full, I am also aware of some issues with some of the distributors that were beyond his control. I have been on the phone several times today working around an issue with one of my orders. They got it straight (not that it was there fault) and is already shipped. I don't know when you sent the PM, but give it a chance. I got some killer deals. Just my .02
 
I have to agree with sheepdog I too have gotten some really good deals from Mark. I am a little bummed out though the mask I ordered is back ordered and I won't get it by the time I leave for Panama city but It was so cheap I'll live.

Maybe so but if you're going to run a big sale and channel it all through PM then you better be prepared to monitor your PM inbox in order to keep it clear and to respond to inquiries quickly. OK so maybe the response was better than expected, that would explain the *first* time it filled up. But this seems to be a persistent problem.

You need to respond to inquiries immediately even if it's just to say you need more time. Many inquiries might be handled on the fly. More than anything people just want an acknowledgement. I am very patient when I know what to expect. I'd rather wait 24 hours knowing it will be 24 hours than to wait 4 hours wondering if my message was received.

You need to keep the Inbox clear. There's a little feature at the bottom of the screen saying Download Private Messages As, if you don't have time to wade through the PMs right away then download them as a text file and clear the Inbox. Check once every hour if you must. You are allowed 300 messages, I find it hard to believe he is getting more than that hourly.

I'm sorry you haven't gotten a reply yet. You sent it to me yesteraday at 11:30, you posted your anger at not getting a reply last night at 5:09 PM, not even 6 hours.

The fact is that I was amazed at the GREAT response this got and I got buried. All last week was devoted to Scubaboard and to be honest I needed to get some other work done, as a result I am checking my PM's 3 times a day instead of constantly.

I have full intention of responding to your PM sometime today and offering you a great price, even after the actual "make an offer" promo is over by now.

I am somewhat surprised that my not responding to your PM in 5 hours and 39 minutes made you feel so badly towards us . We (Divers Supply) has prided ourselves on great service and prices for 30 years.
