the only answer appears to be finding your shot record
This is an issue. What constitutes an acceptable shot record? Sure, go get a free shot at CVS....but what do they provide that will be acceptable at entry to Roatan? We in the US have no official record of vaccinations. You can't even get the little yellow CDC/IHO booklet any more, as far as I know. And I have no idea where mine is....not that it is up-to-date anyway.

Buy them all day long at the government bookstore.

Veterans have their shot records from their induction if they look for it.

I still have my IHO booklet from when I was 2.

I'm not cranky, this appears to be a FAFO moment for anti-vaxxers.

I'm gleeful.

You can check with your schools and universities, they shockingly hold on to the records a long time.

This really doesn’t seem like a vax vs anti vax. It is always frustrating when something pops up last minute on trip that likely has been planned for some time. Nothing wrong with venting amongst fellow divers.

???This seems exactly like vax versus anti-vax. Otherwise, why is there any issue?

If they don’t accept this, then I’ll be looking for another island to visit.

A noble stand, but how is that doing to work? You won't know if it lets you in until you are there at the immigration booth, and they say "Nope, either take our vaccine or turn around."

I trust my primary care doctor. From his explanation with Covid vax, basically said since I was not high risk it made no sense to keeping having the same shot over and over. He felt you can over immunizations. They eventually changes the vax to address new variants for those at high risk.

I would certainly check with your primary care Dr before getting a shot you already had. Not think it is a good idea to get an injection into your body that already had and don’t need doesn’t seem anti vas, seems like a reasonable discussion to have with your doc.

Here is what LabCorp and Quest say about a measles test, $49:
Unfortunately, test results proving immunity will not prevent the requirement for a vaccine for a disease you're immune to. It would be a wasted $49. :(
