Since you hate DAN so much, and spending more time and energy ranting here than researching your insurance options, just look at a different insurer. Here's an example, be sure to click the button *on the right* for policies written in FL.
R.I.F.
Never said I hate DAN, although I openly admit in my second post on this thread that I'm aggravated due to not being able to find the information I was looking for.
That aggravation has only been compounded by the less than helpful comments (such as yours) that do absolutely nothing to help me find an answer.

Your questions were answered - multiple times. Do you internet much? Because this was 3 clicks deep on the DAN insurance website. Compare plans > USA > Florida

Two clicks deep at Dive Assure

Seems to me filling out the DAN form with fake information could result in a denied claim should there be an accident. Maybe not but why do it?
I’m not suggesting that OP should sign up for insurance with fake info. They would definitely deny a claim.

I’m suggesting that he can type in John Doe info to find out how much it costs before he decides whether to buy the insurance using his real personal info.

Exactly. The OP apparently has zero web skills and blames DAN for that. He claims no pricing info is available on line without posting personal info or buying a membership and then posts that very information. Glad he is a spearo and not a real diver I might meet on a dive boat. LOL.

Welcome back to diving and to SB, @Speargun. Looks like you joined SB in 2003. Some of us are happy to try to help rather than critique your web skills.

Having to enter some personal information to get a price on insurance is not limited to DAN's accident insurance. Sometimes, travel insurance providers force you go through that hoop, too.

I see that the scubaboard arrogant asshats haven't changed in the last 22 years... Now I remember why I never posted here.

tursiops apparently has no comprehension skills and blames me for that.

Case in point: Doesn't comprehend that ONLY AFTER a helpful poster posted on how to "get around" providing personal information did I post that very information.
Glad he is a spearo and not a real diver I might meet on a dive boat. LOL.
I have to agree with you on this one. If YOU are a prime example of what a "real diver" is, I'm glad I'm not one.

@Speargun, try here: Regular Membership. "Get An Instant Quote. Click on your state. Find your annual cost. It’s that simple."

Clicking on Florida on the map, I get:
Guardian$159.95
Preferred$80.53
Master$44.11

Thank you for adding pertinent information to the discussion.

I came here in search of information because I was having no luck finding what I wanted to know. Where better to ask about dive insurance, than a forum dedicated to divers?

I research & ask on boating forums when I want information on experiences/opinions on SeaTow vs BoatUS. Both of which, btw, have their coverages/exclusions, price, as well as membership agreement, easily located on their websites. (Both provide pretty much the same coverage but, one clause, that could have been easily overlooked, made the difference on my choice. That one term could have seriously limited my coverage.)

Those critiquing my web skills reveal more about themselves than of me. I was on dial up BBS's, Genie, Compuserve, and a few others that I don't remember, long before AOL introduced the world to the internet.

I'm fairly certain that I joined SB quite a bit prior to 2003 as I did post here on occasion, but I don't see any of those old posts. I think that the forum software was upgraded, or lost, at some point and I had to re-join. Either way, I distinctly recall the general attitude of many SB members being pompous and denigrating towards spearfishing, which is why I haven't posted here in years. ....and probably won't again in the foreseeable future.
