Hello all,
I recently picked up a new cutting tool and could use some advice on placement.

I’m struggling to find a spot on my Hydros Pro or open to other BPW setups, where it doesn’t stick up like an antenna or wiggle around risking snagging on something.
I am even considering placement as a holder for a long hose. This placement still kinda sticks out and has a glass breaker on the end (which may be filed down) due to not needing under water or near my hose.
If anyone has found a clean, streamlined mounting solution, I’d really appreciate your suggestions!

I can stick in a tech pocket but not sure if that is the best option. This is my in addition to a ceramic cutting tool affixed to my dive computer

Thanks in advance

I would store that thing right next to the tourniquets! 😲

I have to agree—there’s a lot of truth in your humor!
My concern is that if I ever had to remove it from the sheath underwater, it could turn into more of a liability than a help. I’ve actually listed it on eBay in hopes it can find a new home

I carry a trilobyte style cutter on my wrist and a pair of ER shears on my camera arm. I am usually using dry gloves and just don't have the dexterity for that sort of tool. Lots of warm water locations I travel to have restrictions on bladed tools.

I got mini shears.
Work great, but I need to silicone them regularly. The pin is prone to rusting.

You can buy a 3-pack of shears for $10, or 20 for $26. In Pastel colors! Just have a few spares and toss them if they get too rusty. I rinse mine with the rest of me dive gear and they seem to last for a few years.
