Looking over this website and it seems like a lot of stuff is out-of-stock. For example this and this. Is this brand (DGX) still around? These seem like popular options so I'm surprised both are sold out.

You have to understand the supply chain right now especially items coming from Asia many were holding off on ordering waiting to see if conditions improved. Like it or not most dive gear does not come from the US.

Very much still in business and providing excellent service as usual. I just had a delivery from DGX this week. As others have suggested, the supply chain from Asia is quite unsettled at the moment.

One great thing about DGX is the realtime inventory tracking. Some other vendors will gladly take your money THEN tell you it’s backordered. Just turn on notification for this item and they’ll tell you when it’s back in stock.

Thanks all I will sign up for notifications. I do understand the supply chain issues but figured their in-house brand would be less susceptible to disruption.

I would dispute that a "lot of stuff" is out-of-stock. Right now we are out of stock on a fair amount of Apeks (aka Aqualung) products for obvious reasons. We are out of stock on the popular DGX Gears S1 wing, which then causes us to be out of stock for our various packages that incorporate it. Otherwise our stock situation is actually extremely good, better than most others IMO because we keep very deep inventory stocking levels. However our excellent in-stock situation won't likely continue much longer, if you follow business news you'll know that supply chain pipelines started running dry in late May across all types of retail channels. Retail prices everywhere are of course rising rapidly too, and DGX is no exception... we do what we can but as a small business we can't just "eat the tariff" costs - our business model is excellent value (as many of our customers are aware) --- there is nothing to fund absorbing unexpected costs.

We do explain what is going on with the S1 wing on our website...

"We are currently out of stock on the S1 wing, although we do have stock on all our harness systems and accessories. One of our most popular products, many components of the DGX Gears S1 wing are manufactured in Asia with final assembly, testing and packaging done here in the US. Unfortunately this means the product is entangled in the recent tariff disputes. We suspended production in April because we doubted anyone would want to purchase the wing at double the price. There has now been some improvements in the supply chain and we re-authorized production, but the impact of the recent tariff chaos has also disrupted efficient transport. At this time, we simply have no clear idea when more stock will be available for sale but not soon, probably between 60 and 120 days although we are expediting where possible. Further we don't know what our final landed cost will be, perhaps significantly higher. We apologize for not be being able to offer better information at this time."

Hey look you missed something, at the start of the top at the beginning

Just my experience a few years ago, as I was trying to buy the basic BP/W package that you linked. After a few months out of stock I just bought the package, but with a Mares wing, as the DGX wing was out.

@DiveGearExpress a related question: when I bought a DGX single-tank package a few years ago (late 2021? 2022?) the wing I got was branded as Made in the USA by Oxycheq. Do you have any insight on when/why you switched suppliers for the wing?
