As a someone who has dived in Colorado in multiple locations, I would suggest that there is no lake or pond here that is worth diving in absent the need for training or certification. Low viz. Nothing to see. Mud covered bottoms. And this time of year, cold. This time of year the only location near Denver even worth considering would be the Aurora Reservoir, which has a dedicated SCUBA area, with a few purposely sunk objects, including an airplane, for people on their Open Water certification to swim around.
