Hello, I'll be in the Denver area next Wednesday (the 16th of April) and interested in going diving that afternoon / evening. Is anybody interested in joining?

Not typically mine, either, but I have a non-diving buddy who lives there who was pretty stoked to do it. They have a class operation, there. Very smooth, very knowledgeable and safe for all experience levels.... aquarium diving is not my cup of tea, personally.
Also pretty sure that lake does not allow swimming/diving as well. And been to that lake many times, I really doubt it is 200' deep. The dam just isn't that tall. There's a ghost town at the bottom of the Dillon Dam Reservoir, about an hour and fifteen from Denver. It's on a fantasy list for me to dive.
Unfortunately it's pretty much inaccessible given the altitude (9000 feet) and the depth of the town remnants (200+ feet). Not to mention the deep underwater 10 foot wide outflows of the Roberts and Blue River Tunnels and the unimaginable Delta-P risk anywhere near those outlets!

I prefer Dillon Dam Brewery over Pug Ryan's. If you know the area, that makes sense.
I'm happy to bring drysuit! Just need a buddyThe water temperature at both Chatfield and Aurora Reservoir is currently listed at 52° F. Better bring your drysuit.
