I'll be taking my new Supernovas out for a few dives this weekend, FWIW I can report back how (for me at least) they compare to the Go Sports

He didn't mention the S-Tek.
SmashMonkey tried all 3 and seems to like S-Tek better for flutter, says Gorillas are better than Supernova for alternating kicks and worse than S-Tek for extended periods of flutter kicking. I am not sure what he means by alternating kicks - maybe modified flutter? His wife seems to prefer S-Tek to Supernova but swims faster in the Supernova.
If you're a photog, overhead diver, or need maneuvering and stability of a stiff fin, then I might suggest one of the others.
I have a pair and love them, and they break down for travelGo Sport, Go Sport Gorrila, or SuperNova. SuperNova is the most awesome fin for Flutter Kick, bar none.
Just back from a weekend exclusively using my new Supernovas (L, black) on 6 boat dives (both giant stride and backroll entry), warm salt open-water single-tank rec diving, moderately-sized dive sites around a pinnacle or along a wall. Most dives were zero current, but 2 had low-to-medium current i.e. I can swim hard against it and make progress, albeit (my) SAC rate doubles. I'd class a true medium current as you can only stay still, again at the cost of a high SAC rate.I'll be taking my new Supernovas out for a few dives this weekend, FWIW I can report back how (for me at least) they compare to the Go Sports
Well, as a DM, I don't make jokes or say anything about someone's gear. It leaves you open to the same from other DM's. I use the the Scubapro Go fins. Love them!!! I have other fins but have found that I never need them. They work well in current and in surge conditions. If the current is strong, really doesn't matter the fin length, you're goin' for a ride! Use what you are comfortable with.I am nearing my 100th dive, at least 80 in my scubapro go travel fins. I've never owned other fins and my experiences with other fins were long ago.
2 dive masters recently made fun of me for using these. One said they weren't even half the size of his. Another said she used to own a pair, switched to jet fins and they are much stronger and switching would improve my bottom time. My sac has always been bad, but is far worse the less finning on the dive. Current is generally not an issue for me. However the cost to try something new is relatively small and improvement would be welcome.
