Oh, I agree, it's very tough to watch. But there's a reason why there are over a hundred eggs (on average) per nest and the females will lay two to six nests per season. If nature didn't take its course, there'd be a massive overpopulation problem.Well, I get your point, but back to the dwindling numbers.. geez you'd think they can at least wave off a bird or two. Watching that slaughter would bring tears to the eyes of Jack the Ripper.
