If they can make enough service kits to satisfy all the hoarders concerned divers, they might be able to get through this after all.

Apeks saving will probably be the military contracts they have.

Apeks supplies Inspiro 1st stages, huge amount of military/public service users.

Hi. As we all know Apeks has been brought out. But surprisingly they are still churning out new products like the limited edition 50yrs regulator and the Apeks RK4 Fins

so... Are we suppose to let go of our regulators? what about their overhaul kits?

Anyone can poilnt out where to get their overhaul kits incase apeks wont supply them anymore.? i have several sets of single tank diving, doubles and stage regulators. approx totals to about 8 sets. too hassle to replace all of them.
I'm getting tired of being out of the water with regulators that need a servicing kit ordered about a month ago. They may make great regulators. But who wants a regulator that they can't use. They are killing a brand.

I was worried as well but I was thinking they are a lot of apeks users especially for regs so I hope. Even in worst case scenario they will be aftermarket service kit available
We can only hope so. But despite financial difficulties, screwing existing customers who are waiting for their regulators to be serviced with authorized is not likely giving people a great outlook on the future of this company.

Tons of retailers in the EU have them. They really are not that hard to get. Last place I ordered alot Apeks stuff from was Service Kit for Apeks 1. stage diaphragm controlled (AP0241)

SF-1 says they have 30+ in stock (yeah yeah the picture on there site is old but having ordered over a dozen from them I can confirm they are the white paper package versions see my picture a couple post up)

No EU VAT if your shipping them to the US, and no US import tax on diving equipment. They ship DHL, if I remember correctly took about a week to get from Germany.

I think it's local issue.
My dive shop in Croatia has them in stock and no mention of any delays (owner dives Apeks regs).

My Dive shop told me today all of their Apkes/Aqualung/US Divers regs are sitting 4+ months waiting for parts, because a hedge fund bought them up and fired everyone but 7 people and now nobody returns calls/emails and they are considering offering customers trade-ins because they can't service these.

Details are wrong, but yes the parent company Aqualung has been going through private equity hell for a few years.

Hows that hey one that fell into the diveshops lap without them having to make the story up themselves

BONUS!

On regs that probably don't need servicing anyway, or don't need a kit anyway, can you buy diaphagms
