Hello All,

I'm about to buy my first BC and am strongly considering the Zeagle Stiletto. My only question is will 35 lbs of lift be enough for me in the 50-55f salt water of the Monterey Bay? I wear a dry suit and carry about 36 lbs of lead. Hopefully I'll need less as I get more experienced.

The BC I usually rent is the H2OdysseyIntrigue but I can't seem to find out how much lift it has.

Thanks,
Blake :)

I have one that I use mainly for tropical diving . I have used it a few times here in the Pacific Northwest , I use as much as 32 lbs with my drysuit . I would hesitate to use more lead than lift , it is nice to inflate your bcd and be able to take it off at surface if necessary .
The weight pockets are not as large as the ones on my tech . You would have to use the back pouches as well as the side pockets .
If you are only going to own one bcd and dive with that much lead , get a Ranger or a Tech , the 40lb bladder is so versatile for all sport diving .
