hi i was wondering if anypone on scuba board has tried the zeagle back plate deluxe harness. If you have i have two questions how much was the harness and also would you recomend it. I have also looked at the sar harness that zeagle offers and if anyone has tries that harness i woyld also like to knbow what it is like

thanks alot mike

I have dove with the delux harness and the std. harness. After using both I went with the std. harness and made my own crotch strap. I went with the std harness cause when attaching backup lights to the delux they were right over the quick release buckles.

I have both but prefer the Standard harness. Less Clutter and just feels more comfy.
I dont tend to use the buckles on the Deluxe when I use it anyway.

Cheers
Chriso

I have the Deluxe and love it. But if I was only diving in cold water, would not spend the money on the shoulder pads.

I also don't think I would be unhappy with a std harness. I never use the quick release buckles on the shoulder straps any way & as a kid dove with a simple plastic backpack & harness of 2 inch webbing. The buckles do limit just where you can place D rings, so that may be what trips the decision for you.
