Hi, we're thinking about a family trip to the Zanzibar area (from the UK) to do some diving (coupled possibly with a bit of Safari on the mainland beforehand).
We're all adults and will be diving OC with the least experienced diver having done around 50 dives and we're happy diving to 30m+ (100').

Would love to hear any hints/tips/suggestions for where to go/what to avoid, for example, the travel agent suggests a week of safari then a week diving from Mafia island.

On the diving front, to be a happy family trip :) it will need warm, clear water and ideally some bigger pelagic stuff/big schools of fishy things.
We're also looking for nice beaches and food, not too bothered about nightlife and partying.
Thanks!
