Nemrod:
The dive industry is replete with stinkyosity from stem to stern.

Mares has their Airtrim system that is similar, and Cressi Sub has their Flight Control System.

I dive with a Mares Dragon AT (Airtrim), primarily because of limited mobility I have in my left arm. I can get a normal inflator hose above my shoulders, but it's awkward and slightly painful. At least on mine, there is an oral inflation method: there's a tube you pull up and out of the left pocket you can use to orally inflate, as well as a manual dump valve.

Ya!!! more BCs to choose from without the STUPID corrugated hose!

I hate that hose, it is of absolutely no use to me, i tuck it under my shoulder strap to keep it out of the way. It gets used to add air, never to dump.

My BC will have one of those left pocket inflators for sure. I SO HATE THE HOSE!!!

It looks like Mares's Airtrim system, but at least Mares markets it as something to "simplify buoyancy control during the dive." (Begs the question: how much better than the regular inflator?) The Aqualung blurb makes their system sound like an elevator button...

So, is this a "knife-integrated" BC too?

It's a steel Wenoka "squeeze" that I got at MEC (for half of what the same model cost at a LDS). I recently found out that Aqualung owns Wenoka... Must be why that BC comes with one already mounted on.
