Thanks everybody who has replied, some real interesting comments which also confirm to me that a back-up gas is the way to go. My calculations also suggest that a 7ltr bottle would get me back to the boat should things go wrong. I'll try a slung bottle and a mounted bottle and feel which I prefer. Life ending seconds was also an interesting study.
