I was wondering if anyone has one of these belts and are the pockets removeable without cutting them off?

Got one. Love it. The pockets are not removable. However, the unused ones can be flattened & fastened down with the attached velcro flap.

You don't need to buy the entire belt setup. The weight pockets are attached in twos and threes on the belt purchase.
I purchased separate pockets from xsscuba. One pocket at a time. About 7-10$ each. Nice product.
