I think we should have gotten Randy to sign a different kind of waiver before purchasing the Xen. LOL.

Anyone tried the Xeo yet? Interested to know how it compares to the X1, which I find a little hard to read
Not sure... belongs to a friend, I've used it a few times. The main parts of the display I can read okay but some of the smaller stuff I find a bit hard, especially at depth. I'm long sighted in one eye and the deeper I go the harder it gets to focus both eyes together
Heheh, good one
Actually it gets progressively worse from 0m... even at 30-40m it's a little blurry looking at things close-range, like my SPG, computer or bottom timer. I have a two-window mask with a corrective lense on one side, but I don't like the mask as much as my ATomic Aquatics, so although it does make reading my gauge easier (particularly since it's my left eye that's long-sighted) I don't wear it much
As far as I'm aware, the XEO & the XEN have the same screen real estate, & use the same size fonts, which are larger than the X1. So if you can read a XEN, I imagine you'd be able to read the XEO.
Just realised we're in the Canadian forum, Maybe asking in one of the specialist forums would elicit a response from one of the XEO testers.
Western Canada is home to Liquivision, Shearwater, KISS, Whites, Bare, Oceaner, Brooks, Seatux, Nuytco, and Randy P. Great place to be diving around.Just realised we're in the Canadian forum, Maybe asking in one of the specialist forums would elicit a response from one of the XEO testers.
