Hey Kimberly, is it still available and what size is it? I know Xdeep only has 2 sizes right now.

Good Morning Wes,

Yes this is still available and this is the standard size plate which for xdeep is the small.

Thank you,

Kim

Good morning Kimberly,

Having just ordered an xDeep Ghost (sm.), I wonder why you are selling yours.
Pros/cons?

Thanks for your time in response,

Ken

Hi Ken, actually it was my boyfriend’s ghost and he just opted to build his own with interchangeable bladders from Apex. I still dive my XDeep Zen and love it for both warm and cold water.

soooo totally reviving this dead post. just got my owc in bonaire using their zeos plate. going straight to a bpw of my own and trying to decide on zen vs build my own. while I will only travel dive, the ghost seems a little limiting and not crazy about the single layer wing. curious what plate your boyfriend opted for when he got rid of the ghost.

Not OP but I use an xDeep plate with an Apeks 18lb wing. I really enjoy the extra width they have as the weight feels a lot more distributed. I recommend trying the plate with another wing of your choice (I don't like single layer ghost and the zen wing is WAY too large)

thanks for the tips. are you using the zen then? any other feedback you can provide? is the v crotch strap really that big of a comfort difference? I rarely noticed the single strap on the zeos....except when I was doing my DPV course. Major wedgie.

I'm also totally stunned that they make you use an STA rather than just putting a few extra slots in the plate.

How is the location (height wise) of the belt?

just realized i'm reading your smallest lightest thread :D

Yes I am technically using the Zen backplate. Had a zen system but ditched the wing as I mentioned earlier. V-crotch strap doesn't make MUCH of a difference unless you're scootering, but it's nice to have two rear d-rings sometimes. STA thing is kinda annoying but I always use an STA bc I get really annoyed with the cam bands being all over the place. Waist strap is a tad high but I don't notice it. When I'm underwater in correct body position, I literally don't notice the BC. Out of water, especially for shore dives, I like the zen backplate as it distributes the weight more evenly on your back
