I was actually about to order the DL08, but the DL03 with the laser also appeals to me. The D08 is significantly brighter, and you can switch between spot and flood. Is that also possible with the D03?

This is a good question; I just discovered last night that EcoGearFX 18650 cuts out when used in a WURKKOS FC13.I've been looking for something like for a while. @Wurkkos Diving Light, what is the max current draw in amps? Can I use a battery that has a maximum discharge 10A?
I didn't think to look at the datasheet for the LED, I wonder how effecient the driver is? I suspect as you said right on the edge.According to the datasheet of the LED, it needs ~5,25 amps @6V to generate 2800 Lumen. So nominal voltage for the 21700 of 3,6V would lead to a current draw of 9,2 amps. So it could work but it is right on the edge.
