$3700
SUEX XJ-37 2017 940 Wh Lithium Ion battery Includes saltwater weight, freshwater ballast, and charger. Asking $3700, retail for new units is $8200. An excellent mid-range scooter. Purchased in 2018. This scooter has had a good life with avid use during the six years I've owned it. It has great maneuverability in twisty passage. It easily runs to 4500 ft in flow and a bulky gear configuration (backmount rebreather + bailout + 1-2 stages) before hitting thirds on battery (<2/3 battery round trip). This gets you past the Berman Room in Ginnie, well past the water monitoring station in Manatee, and to the end of the gold line in Jackson Blue Spring. The throttle is a trigger with numerical speed control via knob on scooter body. Trigger lock enables cruise control or preventing accidental motor activation. Removable propeller is useful for disentangling cave or fishing line from the drive shaft. The handle can be rotated for right-handed, left-handed or stowed configurations. Emergency speed controller bypass switch next to the trigger. (Connects motor directly to the battery, allowing for full-speed exit in case of controller failure) Removing the nosecone of the scooter provides access to the charging port, battery and motor. The battery can be unplugged from the motor for charging, service, or replacement. Contains a data access port on the battery unit, but I've never hooked it up to investigate the features. I am frequently diving all over Florida, so meetup or transportation of the scooter is flexible. Primarily, I'm in Melbourne, High Springs or Jacksonville.
