I believe these are the 1/2" thread tanks.
Looking for a good Valve ready to go. I might go for one needing servicing.
Send PM with price shipped to 75089.
thanks!

Are you sure the tank takes a O-ring sealed valve? A lot of the older steels took a tapered valve that you used teflon tape on.

We are talking about tapered ½" CGA (Compressed Gas Association) thread, similar to tapered NPT (National Pipe Thread in the US). Tapered tank threads usually use Teflon tape as a pipe-dope or lubricant — not a sealant. US Divers (now Aqualung) introduced the ¾" straight NPT O-ring sealed straight thread in 1960, which is currently the standard in the US.

Your older usd 72 tanks without o rings are 1/2 in. tapered pipe threads.

Thanks guys.
I will get it ordered today!

I have valves; if you are still in the market and can confirm the if you need the o-ring or teflon tape type, I'll send you a pic.
