Fortunately we now have Teflon Tape instead of pipe dope. I hope your threads are still OK after the tapered valve incident.

I'm kinda surprised that UPS didn't inspect it and require removal of the valve for shipping.

My o2 bottle arrived by airmail... Valve on and with a good fill of oxygen in it.
