Anyone know of any good deals on SK7's? I don't think Larry has them

That's why the bezel has two marks. Seriously though, I was referring to the times that I use it for OW diving.limeyx:Yeah, but a cave only has two directions ,"In" and "Out", right ?
Needle compasses like the SK-5 are probably a bit more prone to sticking like that. Card compasses such as the SK-6 (and I presume the SK-7, with which I am not familiar) would seem to be less likely to have that problem. Proper use is all in the technique however, so whatever type you use, make sure you practice, practice, practice.I'd tap the compass or move my arm, only to watch in dismay as the needle span to a completely different bearing -- then having absolutely no idea where i was.
