I am so excited...only five more days to the wrinkle's dive!!!!!:wave-smil

My hubby is coming for sure, and I will probably force my two boys, Graham - 15 and Alex - 11, to come along as well. Wrinkles, try to keep your neice away from my eldest. He has a good heart but is a player. He is certified but has stated that "I don't dive cold murky water anymore" after diving in Costa Rica last July. Ok, so maybe I spoiled him, just a little. :11:

So, Christian, put me down for me plus 3 guests, k? We'll bring an EZ up, coffee, and Hot coco mix.

Oh, also pm your email address and I will send that group pic from the last wrinkles dive in San Diego. :crafty:

Hi Laurel,

Keep in mind that "portable cooking devices" are not allowed at Heisler Park, so the hot water for the coffee or cocoa would have to come in a Thermos or some other hot beverage container.

Christian

Guys, judging from recent dive at various Laguna beaches, I am sorry to say that most of you will be rather disappointed with the 25'+ of visibility and huge 2' surf.
I still hope as many people that have promised to show up will make it with the current conditions we are having.
I know most of you will opt for clearer, warmer waters a all we have here is 61° and almost 30' of visibility.
:shakehead
If you are iffy on skills entering with no surf, stay at home because this is not for you. If you are uncomfortable diving in minimal vis, ie: 20'+, stay at home. This dive is not for you.:no
Otherwise, I am very excited to have reserved this Saturday off so I can dive with all you strokes!!:D

See you all Saturday. And I'll add 3 more to my res. (The whole famn damily is coming!)

I am a rather new diver and really want to check out Laguna. I am hoping to get out there on Saturday and see what Laguna has to offer as well as meet some other divers. I have one HP100 tank and wondering if I should pick up another (rental) or is Laguna Sea Sport pretty close to get a fill in between dives?
Thanks...

I'll bring a couple extra al80 tanks for people to borrow, so you can use one or both of those if no one else lays claim. You can also run to LSS for a fill, they are very close.

Well, I've only done the two shore dives (_last_ Wrinkles dive in lake-like La Jolla) but I may drop by, anyway. Heck, I just bought bananas, today. I'll need a (hopefully, experienced in gnarly waves :) ) buddy so, hopefully I can find someone who will want to dive with me.

Hope to see y'all on Saturday!

You live in Laguna Beach, have between 100-199 dives and you have only done two shore dives?
Leave the bananas at home and bring the sponge (aka:boogie board) and sherpa my gear!:D

Yeah, my wife got certified the first time in February in Corona del Mar. When I got certified (and she got recertified), she told me "no cold water and *NO* shore diving." Well, I've gotten her to relent on the cold water but I'm doing the shore diving thing by myself.
