I've just changed my reservation so that I return on the 11:30 boat on Saturday. This allows time for a leisurly night dive and dinner. Now my only task is to find a couple of hours entertainment after that.

Anyone up for a joyride on the sub? How hard could it be to hotwire it.

My reservations are confirmed as well, I will be there Friday evening and depart Saturday evening on that oh so odd 11:30pm boat.

It looks like you and the Rad 'Possum will be on that 11:30 boat together. It's actually really cool because you can join in on the leisurely dinner fun and hang out for a while.

This is stacking up to be the all time best trip to Catalina. That is, of course, not counting my little excursion with ShakaZulu, which would actually have to fall into a completely different category. :11:

Obviously you have yet to be introduced to how we roll for dinner and related activities... You'll be lovin' it....and you'll be runnin' to make the 11:30 boat on time!
RadPossum's gonna have fun!

And the name of this category would be.......???
It must encompass, embrace, and promulgate such a broad set of features and variances....

Waiting.... :D

Not to get off track regarding Christian and Roy’s wild Catalina escapades :D, but is anyone still interested in diving the Valiant? I called the number jetfixer mentioned (310-510-4211 and spoke with Doug). He said to call 310 510-0535 because he is at Two Harbors. I called that number and they said to show up the day you want to dive the Valiant and get a permit.

After reading about the night dive I decided to change my return to the 7:30pm boat and hopefully be able to get in a night dive. See you all there. Saturday (Friday, for some lucky ones) can’t come soon enough.

I'm still williing to get a little Saturday morning Valiant action!

I think Claudette mentioned earlier in the thread that she was also interested. I'm sure that we'll have a nice little crowd that's interested.

I have not figured out the logistics of filling my tank after doing the night dive on Friday night. CDS does not open the fill station until 8am on Saturday. I think I may just rent an extra tank for the night dive, so I'm ready to go on Saturday morning.

Hey, it's tomorrow already !!!!

Okay, looks like the following crew will be arriving tomorrow:

Around 10am: Mr. Moe T. Vation and Claudette
Around 1pm: Mr. Christian and me and Myrna and my brand new custom made quilted dive jacket that's so warm you can cook eggs inside it and everyone is going to be drooling over it but you can't have it because it's mine.

I have every intention to dive the Valiant. In fact I was planning to stop at the Harbormaster on my way to Casino Point from the Express landing and fill out the form, and call them later to add any other interested parties.
