Anyone wish to carpool from OC??? Who knows, by then, it just might be my 100th!!!

I am hoping for good conditions this weekend!

Jan, we may be able to carpool. I will talk to you about it later this week.

What number dive are you on today?

I was in Malibu today and it was really windy. NOAA's forecast isn't so good either. We may want to have a backup East of Point Dume (assuming we're shooting for Leo Carillo).

There's always Escondido Creek. that's pretty protected

Are we still looking at making this a two tank day or are we thinking of just one? Also if anyone want to carpool out of the valley more then willing to drive here. But as TJ will tell you just have a little bit of Fur in the Veh. Got to love those dogs.

Well, conditions do look like they may be ok, but the swell may be an issue and is too soon to call. But diving should be ok, depending upon what this wind that just started does.

How about this, we meet at 0800 AM Sharp, on Pacific Coast Highway just South (East) of Leo Carrillo Entrance on the east (land) side of the road. We can then do a recon of the ocean by walking across the street to Sequit Point or South Leo Carrillo (see http://www.sandeaters.org) dive sites for this location. Then we can make a Dive/No Dive decision for this location and then either pay for parking and go to Leo Carrillo (Plan A) or do the U-Turn for Escondido Creek (Plan B) or another sheltered location yet to be named (plan C).

I must pass on tomorrow morning's dive with all of you. :frown: And I was really looking forward to diving Malibu... I have never been there other than a visit many years ago to the old Getty Museum... Ah, but I age myself!

Have a great dive and I hope the red tide we saw down in San Clemente and Salt Creek today don't find you too...
