I'm fairly new to this board . . . but I wanted to pass some info along, especially since the diving conditions here have been pretty rotten lately.

There is an underwater cleanup scheduled for this Sunday around 11am for the Blue Heron Bridge in WPB. If you are not familar with diving the bridge -- it's a good place to dive when the ocean is too rough, lots to see there and about an hour's worth of bottom time. Two of the dive charters in the area are running it. They are offering free air tank rentals for the cleanup. If you are interested, check out this website. Phil Foster Park Project. Its a great way to get your gear wet and help out at the same time.

Thanks for posting - I may join you.

The Commercial Blvd. Pier AWARE clean-up was a lot of fun and VERY amusing (except for Jen's trick with the fish hook... but that's another story). They handed out T-shirts and Panther tickets, so it was worthwhile, too.

Under the bridge sports some cool critters I haven't seen elsewhere... highly recommended, even without the tickets or T-shirts!

Me and Aqua-man will be there!! But you already knew that didn't ya?? LOL :mean:
