Your comments have been great. I have no problem with solo diving. Just wanted to here it was ok. I’ve always been tought dive buddy this dive buddy that. I’m a very confident diver, actually wanted to show my better half I wasn’t going to die because I’m diving solo. That solo diving for experienced divers is not that dangerous if you know what you are doing. Is there a safety aspect of solo diving you are uncertain about? What concerns you?
ThanksYou might find some threads in the Solo Divers forum useful. Have you ever practiced CESAs or free ascents from 40'? It can be a real confidence builder.
If there is fishing and boating , there is always the possibility of running into lost ropes and fishing line. To say there are "no problems" seems somewhat optimistic. I generally carry two knives/cutting devices for diving solo.No intangible problems, certified as Rescue Diver. Have a pony bottle
Thanks again for all the comments. I’m going to take a solo diver class.I don't think anyone is going to openly endorse you to dive solo, hence the "tiptoe in the tulips" responses. It isn't up to us on an internet forum to make that decision. Those of us who are certified have taken classes to complete the knowledge base of this endeavor.
Thanks again for all the comments. I’m going to take a solo diver class.
Nice to hear. It is a great tool in the toolbox. I certainly hope you find a very good instructor that challenges you to be your best. Thanks again for all the comments. I’m going to take a solo diver class.
