I got this film clip from a outrigger canoe paddling connection. I thought it looked real, what do you think?
I dunno about that one ... but I did once witness an orca breach very, very close to a group of kayakers.

Of course ... it's just as illegal for kayakers to paddle into an orca pod as it is any other boat, so I wouldn't feel sorry for them if they got clobbered by a few tons of sea mammal ...

I still think that kid experienced a life long memory event, and geeze the mother…..
When I was a kid a brown bear walked by me about 3 feet away with my mother watching, she was a little upset – to put it mildly. That poor kids mother. You can’t live in Ketchikan and not know Orca is a Killer Whale.
