wetpixel had a contest 2 weeks ago on this topic. Some insanely beautiful images there.
 
Here are few.
First one is G9 with UWL-100
Last 2 are E-PL1 with Oly 9-18mm lens in dome.
I'm not sure that I would have preferred to take any of these without W/A lens.
W/A allows you to get closer, which is usually a good thing.

If you are talking about the Grouper, it was less patience than it was curiosity/cooperation on his part. He was interested in us and let me swim upside down underneath him for a while.
Remember, it was a WA lens, so he was pretty close.

I don't know if it is CFWA but it was close and it was wide angle and I did not break the lens so (Canon S90 with Inon UFL165AD):

I saw this sponge so I snapped a shot from the hip (Canon S90 with Fisheye UWL-04):

None are good photos really but I like the perspective contrast nonetheless.
