Would anyone be interested in a DIY spring strap kit?

I looked at the "bend it to lock it in place" thing and wans't happy, so I did a "bolt on" for Jets. My costs for these things is #35 per set with SST springs and Delrin or UHMWPE adjustable ends. I'll try and get a pic up of an assembled set this weekend.

NO bending of anything, and no risk to the lugs on the jets.

Well a box containing 18 pairs of springs and hooks just landed on my desk. I'm still trying to source the correct size PVC tubing locally, hopefully I can get it by mid-week, and the kits will be ready to ship out by the end of this week. The springs are really nice quality.

Made up a set of spring straps tonight using the parts that will be in the kit... here's a pic of the finished product on a pair of Cressi Sub Space Frogs.

The only tool I needed was a pair of pliers to squeeze shut the S hooks, but if anyone has a small foot they may need to trim the spring using cutters. I'll figure out the postage tomorrow, but at this stage the cost for the kits (not assembled of course!) will be $15 plus postage, and that's almost exact cost of materials. Not bad considering the commercial offerings are $45 to $76. Took me about 20 minutes to knock my pair up.

If anyone finds cutting the springs difficult, the old dremel comes in handy for that.
