I uderstood that in the new E series the overfill or + was good for the life of the tank and no special + hydro was needed.

E (exempt) cylinders are not +(plus) rated and cannot be overfilled

One question I have...the "+" overfill rating I seem to remember use to be valid for only a set number of years on a new tank (10?) then it was officially no longer valid. Is this true with the Worthingtons?

Thanks.[/QUOTE]

The plus rating is good for as long as the cylinder passes the REE tests at each hydro.

E-series tanks do NOT get a + for overfill -- they can only be filled to the rated pressure. They fall under a special exemtion for hydro -- instead of 5/3s working pressure test they get a 3/2's test.

cheers

I have a set of Worthingtom 108's with Thermo valves, isolater and highland bands. Other than the finish taking a beating these seem like great tanks. Oh yeah, buy a back brace!!!!
