K pointed out to me that she, K that is, HAS to get new gear now as this "diver" has the exact same gear down to size and color of fins, reg and BC. I forgot to add that as a rescue diver, her inst had to set up her BC/tank/reg for her, she couldn't figure it out. Then there was a problem so the inst worked on it while she POed a paying customer on the boat with her freaky chitchat. She has spent her life sucking on the teat of the govenrment she hates so much and was mouthing off about it to a very conservative woman......

Just being "helpfull"
I had a student...a very nice sort of person.He was first certified back in the 70's and was on a PSD team. I saw the c-cards and pictures.
He started over with an OW class with me. I can dive with him a while and he'll start doing ok. If I turn my back for a while he's back to the same old thing. I could tell stories about him for the rest of the afternoon and well into the evening. He did about 3 ice classes with me and I never certified him. About the time I'd start thinking that he was doing ok, he'd wrap himself up in the line (in such a way that I had to tow him to the hole like a big ball of yarn and untie him there). He would just get in the line and keep spinning around until all I could see was 1/2 inch yellow line. Once he swim between the shore and the ice to solidly jam himself in. Once he inflated his dry suit until he looked like the muffin man and shot to the surface. We tried to stop him but he was buoyant enough to raise a car. He said that he kept inflating because he couldn't hear the air going in and hence thought that it wasn't going in.
I have taken lots of guff because he has my name on his card especially the day that he sat down in the water to put his fins on. That wasn't bad in itself but after his fins were on he rolled over onto his hands and knees. The water was just above his head while he was on all fours and we had to sprint accross the beach to lift him up because he was going to drown.
There were others but I'll save those stories.

Never say NEVER. . . I have seen some pretty confident divers panic in 15' when they lose a student,the student was above and behind them.
But with this young lady does she Yoga or play racketball? sounds like those might be 2 things she would be better at. . . and WC could be her racketball coach for a while well until she got tired of getting hit with little blue balls. . .
