Wow! Over two days under water and Scuba gear!! 51 hours and 25 minutes.Check out the gnarly neck seal ring mark around her neck that looks like it hurts. That's incredible, crongrats to Cristi and her support team for breaking the record I'm sure it must have been very hard to keep going.. This was for a good cause (cancer under pressure) it was cool that it happened in my own backyard!!

Here is some video thought I would share it you.

It's great that she raised money for a good cause, but it looks more like she set the record for "Longest Time Kneeling Underwater"

Unfortunately, folks who know nothing about diving will see this and figure "OK... so that's what diving is supposed to look like."

I wonder what the record for actually diving is?

Geez get over yourself what is she supposed to do swim in circles for 51 hours and practice "peak buoyancy" she did it to raise money for a cancer charity that says a lot about her and who knows she just might be a better diver than you.

Everything she did for 51 hours, including eating and sleeping took place about 17 feet underwater.

That had to be some salty food!

Also, I can't imagine trusting myself to keep my regulator in my mouth while I was sleeping unless I had a full face mask.

As I said, great for cancer charity. Bad for diving.

She could have gotten off the bottom for the picture, anyway.

Maybe next time someone is doing a "Record breaking dive" for charity they can contact you so you can then tell them what they should and shouldn't do so it will enlighten those non-divers you are concerned about.

outstanding....
