The material is like a 1 mm white neoprene. It is photoprinted. It is the hot designer material for the past year or so. Alexander Wang, Clover Canyon, Tadashi, Proenza Schouler, Lavin, Laundry and many more……. have neoprene dresses/separates in their collection.

What is the benifit of using 1mm neo for the suit. The suit if for visual exposure and the neo is for thermo protection.. The 2 purposes seam to be counter to each other when it comes to diving. I think when it comes to suits and diving you are either warm or "hot". BTW how thick of neo does a thong have to be made of to provide the same warmth as a shorty????

Hmmm... looks sharp in the photo... doesn't sound like it would be very comfortable... Oh... and not in my size anyway... so... No.

Neophrene bathing suit sounds uncomfortable, and excessively bouyant. Nice to have avery light suit that dries fairly fast - a normal bathing suit.

I don't know why suit makers have started making neoprene bikinis, except maybe because they can do a 1mm and it doesn't have to be lined like a traditional suit, but I did some research on neoprene 1 pieces. Apparently they are now considered high performance suits for water polo and the like. Added buoyancy, maybe? Or that they help keep the players warmer for hours in the pool training? IDK.

I like the unisuit idea for diving.
