Hello All PPD`s , I am coming to Manila Oct 14 and wonder if I should just head for the Visayas . Last time I was in Phils Oct 2006 weather was great . In PG they said I was lucky cause usually more stormy . Does it look like this year gonna be bad El Nino . I think the storms come from pacific now towards Viet Nam . Later the wind comes from Viet Nam towards Phils . I get a chance for long stay but am asking advice if when I arrive just head south avoid typhoon till Nov then go Anilao and PG . Tell me what you think . Kind regards

well we just came from a violent one... but it was the worst in 11 years so it's statistically more of a fluke than a normal thing

weather now is summer-perfect... so mid october you should be lucky in the visayas... generally great weather then year round

it's all about luck too, i was in the visayas area a week before the Milenyo storm. . .

as ish said its about luck.. no one can really tell when a storm will hit.. I lived in the visayas area for 21 years of my life and october, november, december where months when storms will come with only 2-3 days notice.

Are you insane! ?!?!? Didn't you watch "Day After Tomorrow"??? Where the world goes thru another ice age in 90 minutes because of global warming?
:rofl2: ...........................

Weather is good, there's a storm coming but according to forecasts it wont hit directly and it wont be that bad. In fact, we're already a planning a weekend in anilao. :)

i think the storm is on its way to HK. . . . welcoming Tim and Pak when they get back.

Hahaha... actually it almost followed me to Thailand. Guess it hit land in Vietnam. Just got some sporadic rainshows in the city of angels
