I only wish our kids hadn't been such ankle biters when we were stationed in Okinawa. I ended up sitting on the beach with the kids while my husband snorkeled.
His enjoyment of snorkeling in those waters and the brief afternoon of snorkeling I experienced in Hawaii a year ago are the seeds that led to our going for our OW certification this year.
Hopefully someday we will get back to the Keystone of the Pacific and get to see the half of the island we missed when we lived there.
