Ah, yes. Most O-rings are NOT silicone, so silicone grease is fine.
Don't use silicone grease ON silicone seals, which a lot of cameras and strobes have.

When they were super spendy some years back, I'd overhaul my "generic" inflator units, now that they are less than $15 I just replace the whole unit when it starts acting up which is often some years given my OCD cleaning routine. I dive every week which I think also helps, use it or lose it and all that.
