That's very true, but now there are septic systems underwater there. I have my public safety diver gear (dry suit and FFM), which I was planning on using, but I would want a hot shower right after for hair with a good ear flush.

I'm pretty sure you are always diving in "untreated" lake water. The water doesn't get treated till it goes from the lakes to the treatment plants.
That has to suck, right?Nasty. They're saying the boil water notice is to last until at least Sunday. I suspect with this week's rain flowing down to Travis in the next few days, it'll be at least a week before diving in Travis is viable. It looks like the class I have next weekend will be in Spring Lake - darn![]()
