Bruce is a NO on the Friday night dive, we will just drive down Friday night. Don't know about hotels yet probably either the Microtel or the Drifters place whichever is cheaper. Don't know about Sunday yet.

FYI

The boat leaves at 3:30 Friday afternoon.

I'll be signing up for Friday night and Saturday

Might be able to attend this one. Need to check with the dive buddy (we will be in the keys from 9/15-9/18) and he is a student so the $ matters. Will this one be leaving out of Wilmington or farther north?

We are going out of Wilmington in Carolina Beach with Cape Fear Divers: http://www.capefeardivers.com/index/pg36416

We definately have enough people to go out Saturday, see Linda's thread above, and jump on in...

We (LOL, and not Linda because she hates night dives... :1poke: ) are trying to get an afternoon/night dive together for Friday the 23rd leaving the dock around 3:30 pm...We just need one or two more people to make that one happen...

Cape Fear runs a great operation and has a HUGE boat which makes for a smooth ride and plenty of room to gear up...

It also seems like there are some pretty reasonable room rates around starting at around $40 a night...

If you have any other questions, ask away...

Ken

Yes let's all pick on linda and her "love" for night dives?

Offer me another Manta Night dive and I am definately IN!!! Offer me a dawn dive (you know the kind in before sunrise and when you surface it is daylight), I am IN on that one too!!! The Manta dive was way cool, but the scary part was getting back to the boat, it was dark and there were no lights (they did not want to attract the mantas to the boat), but Bertha followed us anyway for our own private showing.

Anyway back on topic, Saturday will be lots of fun and I am sure Friday will be as well. There is a possability of some of us staying for Sunday too, but that is an individual thing. Come and join us!

Ken sweetie, please don't give me ideas :devil_3:. Everyone may think I am quiet and reserved and innocent and would never intentionally do anything wrong, but my alter ego PinkDolphin is always around, now it's Pinky you got to watch out for. BTW when you saw me on the other boat on the City of Houston did you notice the trim color of my wet suit, and the color of my mask and snorkle? :sneaky:

:wave-smil :wave-smil :wave-smil :wave-smil :wave-smil

My dive buddy is out, but I am at 60%, so this is still probable. What location? What is the return time? I will have to make the drive back to Charleston SC on Friday (have to work on Sat). Still talking 2 dives on Friday, including the one around sunset?

Do you have the required 4-5 yet. I might be able to collect another basic OW diver for the trip if needed, but I don't want to hold anyone back.

Skeeter,

I think there are 4, check with Cape Fear Divers. Jim can probably give you the exact numbers.
