Will your buddy/"instant buddy" sue you if something happens or vice-versa?

Just ignore anyone that is a self proclaimed solo diver with less that 24 dives. I have never read any of your other posts but you have a legitimate question. Some people vomit on their keyboard and don't have the sense to wipe it off.

I make sure any instabuddy knows that I consider every dive with them a solo dive and if they are counting on me to save their butt for every little problem they need to buddy up with someone else. I have no problem diving solo and have the experience, training, gear, and mindset to be comfortable wherever I dive. If I feel I must have an instabuddy with unknown skills, training, and overall attitude regarding safety to make the dive, I'd rather thumb the dive.

What is your level of of cert.? OW , AOW,and even RESCUE DIVER hold NO liabilty for anyones safety but if liabity is your issue then I think your missing the whole point of BUDDY diving.

Don't know about your buddy, but as far as an 'instabuddy' how can they when they're dead OR ,if they survive, they don't know your real name & address....That's why I go as John Doe on every dive......lol........

Wish I did. I threw that together as a joke one day, and you should see the arguments it caused. The old thread is back there (looking backwards) somewhere...it was kind of funny, kind of not...anyway...
