I currently dive with a Peregrine TX with the Swift transmitter here in the U.S. that I purchased a few months ago.

I will be traveling to Mauritius and diving with a local dive shop and renting equipment from them. I asked if I would be able to use my Swift transmitter on the dives and they were unsure if it will work with their European Scubapro regulators. I had assumed that the first stage HP ports would all be the same size and same threads but upon doing some research, I honestly now have no idea given simple google search results.

Looking for some help/advice here. Its not a big deal as I will still have a SPG but it would be nice to have the air integrated on my computer.

Thanks!

Yes, it'll work. Scubapro (and other) regulators are the same on either side of the pond, except possibly for DIN vs yoke which is not the thing in question here.

There are of course regulators that are exceptions but they are rare and far between and you're extremely unlikely to run into any of them as a rental reg.

any other regs beyond old Poseidons with metric threads have that "issue"?
just curious - not that it impacts me in any way

btw, welocme to the boards @blangan , and happy diving

No problem as long they are using regulators that were made in the last 25 - 30 years.

I use Scubapro regulators from Europe without any issues. They all use the same hp ports with the same thread size, they are standardized.

Not that I know of… and now that it comes to mind I’m not sure if that was on the HP side or just LP, either. But given scubaboard I’m sure someone would ”well actually” with the full truth.
