I drink well water here in Belize and also did in Allegre, Oton, Iloilo. But your average tourist won't and will most likely drink bottled water...and won't worry about the "unsafe" local water.
Why our Dive Industry does not get too much exposure in North America?

Speak for yourself Bill....I drink good CA wines!
Even the Cousteaus served fine Napa Valley California wines when I worked on board Alcyone in the mid-80's. I guess they ran out of the French stuff before they entered the Pacific.
