I dont mind the cost a bit, its aqua therapy. Just dont ask my wife. If she only knew!

At the beginning scuba is expensive cause u gotta buy the gears. However, if u buy the right ones , and careful maintainance u can keep those gears for 10-15 yrs as long as u don't keep on upgrading. secondly, try to live in a city where u can do lots and lots of shorediving so no need to pay for the boat rides.
