Did you get to Kooben Laab? One of my very favourite restaurants on the island and very reasonably priced.

Tried to pop in without a reservation and they couldn't fit our party of 5. The menu looks amazing, and don't get me started on the desserts that were in the case! Definitely going on the list for our next trip.

They close at 10pm and we stopped by one night at 9:10pm and were told they were not seating any more customers. Closing time must mean something different in Mexico. Elsewhere, you must arrive before closing time. In Mexico, you must be gone by closing time.

Sounds about right..plus they sell out of lots of stuff really early. If we want the daily special, I mention it when we make our reservation so that they can squirrel it away.

We had dinner at Kooban Laab tonight. Totally delicious! Leftovers in the fridge for tomorrow lunch!

Try Tostidos Benditos Coconut shrimp tostada (former Tacos Quatros) incredible and 70 pesos
Is it located near the Suites Bahia, across from the great coffee shop?

We went to Kooben Laab on a weeknight Feb when there were very few tourists on the island. We barely managed to get a table without having a reservation. Great place. We will definitely return-but with a reservation.

Kimela,

Love Island House, stayed there a number of times PRIOR to them building the 2nd house. Back then it was owned by Ron and Sherrie White, a great couple. It was great for our smaller group.
