i didn't have a can light when i took fundies

Do you have to have a canister light? ( I really don't know Jeff)
You only need it if you require it. (Hows that for a non-answer) :wink:

I don't think I'd want to take fundies in a can light even if I owned one! I know three of the 5 people in my class owned them, but no one dove with it.
 
Thanks Jonny and Jeff. Well, sort of with Jeff.

I do not require a light where I dive but do carry a back up. I did think that was required.

Water conditions and dive plan dictate what should or shouldn't be brought on a dive.

A warm water dive with 100's of ft of vis...the can light will be of marginal signalling value, but if you were going to enter a wreck...it might be handy.

Its about creating thinking divers DUUUUDE...now pass the hash.
