Is there a reason Suunto is not part of the manufacturer forums?
Do they not play well with others??

Forums aren't automatically created for all manufacturers, they're created when a company requests one. The idea is that they should monitor their forum and answer questions and stuff, so they really need to sign up to do it. Suunto isn't the only manufacturer without one.

Too large a company to monitor a Internet forum in my opinion. SB has worked to encouraged some manufacturers to participate...

We don't give them a forum until they allow battery kit sales over the internet.

Paying my LDS 70 bucks to replace my battery is robbery.

man, like I needed yet another reason to avoid Sunntos.......those things are uber conservative!

The o ring for my Cobra runs me about $0.15. Battery at Radio Shack goes for around $4. Suunto laughs all the way to the bank when they get $20.

If you're paying your LDS $70 to do that it's the LDS robbing you, not Suunto.
