You're right about the cost, but scuba diving is worth every penny.

On a spreadsheet, I kept track of my scuba gear expenditures over the past 11 years; I never thought it would get so high! And I'm only doing open water stuff!

You're right.... I must be on a guilt trip!

Actually, it's a nice nostalgic look back, and not too painful, since much of it was purchased secondhand at good prices, some sold for a profit.

I even keep track of the money I made selling salvaged items! It's fun to look back at where and when I found those items, too.

Just for fun, I should look at what I could sell everything for. Then I'd know the bottom line.

I know one thing: drysuits have been the biggest expense!

No matter; scuba's definitely worth it, right?
